The teaching and research conducted by our Faculty is focused on addressing many of the current environmental problems facing society. Our curriculum covers major concepts in water, air and soil pollution and prevention as well as advanced topics such as physical chemical processes, the fate and transport of chemicals, advances in remediation technology, and the development of bio-fuels. Our research is broad and interdisciplinary, with funding from both state and national agencies. Students involved in research benefit from close interaction with research faculty, experience with state-of-the-art analytical equipment, and the opportunities to find real world solutions.
